About her long career, Susan says, "Over the last 40 years, I have had the good fortune of working with hundreds of nonprofit leaders who have dedicated their lives to building a more just, equitable, and humane society.  I have been dazzled by their brilliance and dynamism and blown away by their substantive depth and strategic savvy.  And, I have been moved and inspired by their courage, passion, commitment, tenacity and sheer hard work in the face of often daunting odds."

Susan is author of numerous articles and publications, including the MAG publications Strategic Planning that Makes a Difference, The Power of Purpose, The Ten Most Common Organizational Problems, and Managing People: Understanding and Overcoming the Most Common Pitfalls. Her first book, Seven Turning Points, will be published in 2009 by the Fieldstone Alliance.  In the book, she introduces readers to seven pivotal points in nonprofit life when an organization must make broad, fundamental changes in the way it's structured, managed, led, and governed. To be notified when the book is released, click here.
