Natalie Bamdad joined MAG in 2017. She supports MAG consulting engagements through research, analysis, and project management. Her core areas of expertise include strategic planning and program design and implementation.
Prior to joining MAG, Natalie worked as a Senior Associate at Community Wealth Partners and provided strategy and capacity-building support to nonprofit clients focusing on racial equity, health, education, and workforce development. She also designed and implemented talent and leadership development programs to support foundation grantee networks through partnerships with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Kresge Foundation, the Haas Jr. Fund, and others. Before this, Natalie worked in political advocacy consulting at the Atlantic Media Company where she conducted research and supported over 700 government affairs shops in grassroots mobilization, legislator engagement, and coalition building.
Natalie holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from Swarthmore College. When she's not at MAG, Natalie can be found organizing with IfNotNow, a movement to end American Jewish support for the occupation of Palestine, and growing Femex, a DC-based grassroots organization that provides opportunities for women and gender non-conforming folks to explore the intersections of gender, race, class, and ability. She spends her free time traveling by bike, making people laugh, and testing out new recipes in her pressure cooker.
