Our Values

There is another side called justice. And justice is really love in calculation. Justice is love correcting that which revolts against love.
— Martin Luther King, Jr.

Love & Justice

We aim to identify and address that which goes against love - issues of power, privilege, and oppression – in everything we do. We view our work through intersectional lenses, constantly looking for ways to create a more dynamic and authentic approach to creating change.

Co-creation

We honor and are responsive to our clients’ and partners’ expertise and experience, modes of learning, and expression as well as our own. We understand that we each hold a significant share of solving the challenges before us. Our work is to bring them forward and together.

Compassion & Dignity

We meet our clients where they are and seek to understand the multiple points of view impacting our work together. We consider the whole person – all of the aspects of one’s life that have come together to arrive at this moment.

Learning

We ground our work in both deep experience and research while embracing risk-taking and experimentation in complex environments with no clear path, testing what does and does not work.

Integrity

Our practices reflect our values and honor the values of our clients. We are committed to walking our talk and to being held accountable to that commitment.

Joy

In the midst of challenging issues, environments, and work, we recognize the power and necessity of enjoying the journey and celebrating. We like to laugh and live life to the fullest.
